Social Security of Unorganized workers

Workers in the unorganised sector have low earnings and poor working conditions, and lack social security protection. It is being realized that there is a need for social security programmes, particularly for neutralizing some of the negative consequences of the liberalization reforms. Besides, the case for any sort of changes to labour laws can be strengthened if all workers have at least a minimum of social security.
