A Bill to make special provisions for the National Capital Territory of Delhi for a further period up to 31st December, 2011 and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. The Bill was enacted to make provisions for increasing in the NCR region of Delhi which was not accounted in the Master Plan of Delhi, 2001 owing to migration and other factors resulting in pressure on land and infrastructure. The bill includes provision of slum rehabilitation for migrant workers in Delhi.
