Shramik Sahayata O Soochana Kendra of Darbar Sahitya Sansad(DSS) organised an enterise promotion training targeting the left behind women from migrant families in these villages of Balipatana block in Khordha dist, Odiaha. A 10 day long training on mushroom cultivation was organised at village Ghasiandhoti and Indolakusiari. 24 poor women from migrant families were trained in mushroom cultivation by Prof. Dr. Adwaita Ku. Patra, a mushroom cultivation specialist of international repute. A small unit of demonstration was done in each participants field.
They are expected to cultivate 20 numbers of beds each to get a monthly net income of Rs 3000.00. Mr. Raghuath Bhol, the Kendra coordinator coordinated the training programme.
